Why, Kevin Bacon, why?? Both Sean & I posed this question aloud as we exited the theatre last night to the agreement of other viewers as they smiled knowingly, shaking their heads in agreement. (Although Sean was, apparently, asking this much sooner in the movie than I was). You see, I was finding much to like early on in the movie...taking its 'edge-of-your-seat' billing quite literally as any of you who have watched a movie with me have known me to do (okay, okay - ALL of you, lol).
But.
Somewhere along the line the movie shifts gears--what was shaping up to be a predictable thriller that would have been likable morphs into an unintended comedy with many lol moments, like Bacon's vigilante turn borrowing moves from Rambo & Dirty Harry all while sporting a mullet 'do!
My advice - if you're feeling lucky, punk...pass on the bacon this time, your heart AND mind will thank you! (Sorry Kevin)
